About Me
I love meeting people from all walks of life, and I make it my mission to provide memorable experiences for my clients. There is nothing that brings me more joy than exposing people to the wonders of swinging for steelhead on a rushing river. I have been fishing since I could hold a rod, and have been chasing steelhead for almost 15 years.
When I’m not busy guiding, you can usually find me on the river fishing with my daughter, or tying flies to come up with that next great pattern. I started my fishing journey like many others as a gear fisherman and have chased a myriad of species through different techniques. Nothing seems to excite me as much as catching a steelhead or salmon on a swung fly. That is why at Chrome on the Fly we solely focus on swung fly presentations both to maximize enjoyment and ensure conservation of this amazing resource.

Whether you are a spey veteran or a complete beginner we will teach you how to be successful with a spey rod. Spey lines offer the perfect presentation to swing flies for andromedas species and are almost as much fun to cast as it is to catch a fish.
